I would like to have some kind of option to increase fan factor regardless of actual outcome of games.
I play a halfling team and am picturing a fanbase, that is more interested in risky plays, honouring former reckless flyers and cheering for the occasional casualty, than in actual winning.
I love playing the halflings and don't mind losing, but I am so into the game I hate the idea that noone actually wants to see them (meaning ingame fluff).
The thought that an underpowered team can turn a game with the help of cheering fans is very appealing to me.
So maybe one could add the option to buy ff for double the money or more into the league (i would even buy it for 50k, i guess), like the result of a heavy advertising campain or so.
Or maybe as additional inducement options.

I think that you do raise a good issue in this respect. Unless the rules committee are thinking outside the square on this one, it may have to be a house rule - nothing stopping you there....
I would like to offer another idea for you below:
If a team, with their 0-16 positionals having the stunty or titchy ability, score a touchdown or two (personal preference), then they could count the end of match roll for FF (2-dice) as if they won the match and it could go up. I would probably then cap this (maybe 8 FF) before they reverted to the normal rules.
IMO, a rule such as this would highlight the crowd coming to see whether the team could actually score, and how embarrasing it is for the other team to be scored against by such a team.
Any other ideas out there......?

I always thought it would be amusing if Stunty teams got 'negative' Fan Factor. i.e. a win loses them fans, and a loss wins them more.
After all, if their fans wanted to see a team win they'd support Wood Elves or Dwarves. The whole point of being a Halfling fan is seeing your favourite players mangled and beaten on a regular basis!
And the sticky buns, of course.

2 Simple house rules for goblin, halfling, and ogre teams-
1) Fan Factor is always rolled 3d6. if you double or beat your existing Fan Factor it always goes up, regardless. If you roll under your Fan Factor and you lost, it goes down. If you roll over your Fan Factor and you won, it goes up.
2) When you lose a game, Fan Factor is rolled 2d6, but a doubles roll always causes your Fan Factor to increase.
