Probably about as broke as an all Guard team.

I suppose if they had Ma 1 St 1 Ag 1 and AV1 they'd be pretty balanced

Of course it can be done ;) How about:

Code: Select all

0-12 Lino 6328 MB G 40k
0-4 Blitzer 6339 MB Block GS 90k
0-2 Runner 7338 MB Sure Hands G 80k
0-2 Thrower 6338 MB Pass GP 70k
Edit: Rerolls 60k

Both runners and throwers and lack of strenght skills will quarentee different kinds of playing strategies and not too many dead opponents. The blitzers might be a bit overpowered in the long run but both runners and throwers will force the coach to use linos on defense (or having weak offence) and thus having almost full roster so spps will spread a bit. Also non-blocking approach helps keeping mb pretty useless skill. Feel free to make it better.

Thats not true, it would only be about 90% as broken as an all Guard team.

Not to join the pile-on too much Gken, but if you are interested in creating new team ideas I would focus on avenues that would make for a difference in approach to play or strategy. Avoid ones that could be just ways to develop an existing team and be cautious of 'all-x' ideas.

Except all leap- nothing wrong with all leap.

Nuts! 60k at least for such powerhouses.

Joke or not, I'll take the bait:

I don't think that an all MB team would necessarily be too powerful.
Depends on starting stats, skills and skill access.
(An all guard team on the other hand, that I can see)

Martin :)

All-MB might work, but only where all positions have AV7 at most.

Gaurentees a bloody game 8)
Certinly shouldn't have AV9, and ball handlers should be AV7

I'd say stick to the classic setup then alter it from there after playtesting

Code: Select all

Linemen 6337 MB G 50k
Thrower 6337 MB Pass GP 70k
Catcher 6337 MB Ctch GA 70k
Blitzer 6337 MB Blck GS 90k
RR 50k

there is an all guard team...
Chaos Halflings Strength type...
they are all ST2 apart from the bigguy, and all have a 1 in 6 chance of missing each drive...

If Galak recons it's not broke i'll aggree with him...
