All at sea: blood bowl on boats

Post by probe_79 »

Does somebody have the rules to play all at sea (blood bowl on boats) please? I heard about it but I can 't find it anywhere.

I'll try to hook out the BB Mags/Annual they were printed in.

2003 Annual?

Post by alslammerz »

Darkson, I'm about 75% sure that it's in the 2003 Annual. If I get around to looking for it later, I'll post exactly which one it's in.

Not yet. I'm still trying to figure out my scanner settings. I either get a edittable format with so many spelling mistakes in it that I might as well just tap it all out myself, or else I get a pic file that's not edittable, but is readable, but to big for me to send via email.

I'm going to have to try to find out the BB Mag it was printed in, and see if that scans easier than the annual does.

If you're still having troubles with this tomorrow (after my deadline) I'll give it a shot at scanning in my copy of the Sea BB rules. If it's too large to email I'll put it up online on one of the free file sharing sites.

i was thinking something along the lines of... of the top of my head

5 players each side….
Roll for random skills before game starts…
Vault ttm rules for throwing chairs…
Fans can give you ???
Small ceiling passes limited to 2 bands

Following Skills are available, roll before game
Block,
dodge,
sidestep,
dauntless,
dirty player,
nerves of steel,
leader,
piling On,
wrestle,
frenzy,
tackle,
Stab

Chairs… throw chair distance equal to strength, roll for AG+1, if accurate the player hits target, opponent is knocked over and rolls armour, if inaccurate the chair scatters 3 squares… first player in the path of the chair is knocked over

looks like a lot of work just to create the "pitch". Maybe that's it. I'd need some pirate models to make it work.

We play Blood Bowl at Sea as one of our mid-season tournaments (the other being the DungeonBowl). The coaches seem to enjoy both - especially firing the cannons.
