New Skill: Slip Ball

While thinking of parallels between Underwaterrugby and Bloodbowl I thought about this:

New General (Passing?) Skill:

Slip Ball: The player is able to give the ball a small toss into a desired direction, when fumbling the ball due to either a block or a fumbled pass. If this player loses the ball for any reason (Failed Catch, Fumble, Knocked down, Pushed Back by Strip Ball Player) he may choose a side which he wants the ball to land in and the Throw-In template is used instead of the Scatter-template.

I wouldn't allow it in combination with any skill, which states "unless the player was holding the ball" eg. Wrestle, TTM etc. as those players have better things to do with their hands.

I think this would be a nice skill for those teams having their ball carrier blitzed quite often. It would als make a passing game more desirable with low AG players, as the results of a failed pass are not as bad. I thought this might be a good skill for teams with lack of passing skill or those doing the runnig game.

A nice idea. I just can't quite think of any players i would pick it on other than it being a slightly worse version of dump off for non-passing ball carriers.

Good idea. I think there was a similar skill mentioned in the passing mutations thread where the player has the ability to pick which adjacent square the ball bobbles into. It would certainly be a boon to teams with naturally poor ball control skills.

Seems like Dump Off.

I knew it would be little bit redundant to Dump Off. But I deliberatly made it a general skill, that way olmost all players can have it.
As players, which might get this skill, I thoght about eg. Whights, Chaos Warriors, basically AG3 guys without Agility Skill access. Maybe not very potent as a skill, but I think it fits into a ball game.

This was actually a though that we had for adding this skill into Extra Arms for a future LRB.

By itself it's far to weak.
