Status of 'Expert BB'?

Hi guys!

I like to think about new ways to play and improve BB. Therefore I'd like to know if anyone knows what became of 'Expert BB'?
The last thread I found (with some interesting posts in it) is nearly 3 years old by now. So what happend?
Was this idea discarded or is there some place where this topic is still dicussed?
Any info/link is appreciated!

I'm not sure exactly. I think it just collapsed under the weight of differing opinions. Without a single chief to guide the process, no agreement will ever be reached on even the simplest of issues, and the idea will be dead in the water. Shame, as there were some great ideas in there.

However, the more I think about it, the more I feel that the standard BB rules are actually pretty solid. I'd see Expert BB as an expansion rather than a whole new game: expanded stats; new skills; new setups etc.

Yeah, it's a pity. I don't have the time to handle such a big project but I would have liked to add some ideas.

You are right. BB is a wonderful game and I think it has come a long way (hate it or love it). But I think there are a few areas which could really benefit from expanded/revised rules.
