Hi guys wasnt sure where to post this but anyways, im looking for some input for a Nurglings roster, as im currently using them as halflings or goblins.

so far i have this....

Nurgling 0 - 16 - 5 2 3 7 dodge, disturbing presence, foul appearance, stunty M,A - G,S,P
Beast of Nurgle 0 - 2- 4 5 1 9 disturbing presence, foul appearance, Loner, Mighty Blow, Really Stupid, Regen, Tenticles

not sure about price for nurlings or seeing as they have no access to TTM maybe give them +1 AV or thick skull (demonic toughness(prob useless with stunty??)) to give them a little more of a chance with the running game

I more see them like an ogre team cause the nurgling miniatures are .. titchy.
But unlike the 3 minus teams your Cockerel have no Thow Team Mate option. Can be a lack.

That is why I would increase the number of beasts.

Instead of 0-2, make it a 0-6.

And give the Nuflings "Titchy", as Moongob said.

ok so what price do you think for the nurglings?? I've dropped 10k off the price of the beast as it no longer has its create rotter ability, mind could just change this to create nurgling??

Whoa, 6 Beasts!? They would shut down pretty much any offence and they would form an awesome cage with a Nurgling in the middle-far, far too good imo.

Disturbing Presence on the Nurglings is also too powerfull IMO. When they are Titchy, they can easily spread out acros the field and make sure the opposition cannot throw a decent pass. I would just give them Foul Appearance.

Got to agree with Aliboon and Pelle's points. 6 Beasts of Nurgle is a terrifying prospect :o as is the idea of every player on that team having disturbing presence.

Stick with the foul appearance on the nurglings (I think AV 8 would be too much) and maybe 3 Beasts?

Has anyone suggested Nurgling line-ups before? Might be checking the search function on this site or looking at which races play in the MBBL. That may give you some ideas for your prospective team.

yeah i was thinking the same about the number of beasts, but 2 big guys with a team of titchy players wouldnt work you would pretty much end up with just the 2 beasts by 2nd half!

cheers leip, i tryied a quick search but couldn't find any rosters (just lots of talk about nurglings in rotters teams)

and thanks for the heads up hoomin i'll try and check gallaks site.

FUMBBL has a stunty division which uses this Nurgling roster.

On Galak sit the nurgling has the following stats

5 1 3 5. Dodge, tichy, right stuff, foul apperence, denomic aura???

I would suggest either using the Halfling team or the goblin team in this case, as there is no way any league commisioner should allow a team to field more than 2 beasts of Nurgle!

So 0-2 beasts, and your Nurglings are

5 2 3 6 Dodge, Stunty, Regen, Foul Appearance 40k or 50k

That would be good to my eyes. If you gave the Nurglings Disturbing Presence or 0-6 beasts, it would be ridiculous to play against.

The FUMBBL one is the best one to use.

0-2 Beast of Nurgle 120000 4 5 1 9 Big Guy, Really Stupid, Infect, Foul Appearance, Mighty Blow, Tentacles, Regenerate S, GAPM
0-16 Nurgling 40000 5 2 2 7 Dodge, Stunty, Regenerate AM, GPS
60K rerolls

Star Players: Scrappa, Nobbla, Morg, Brick & Grotty, Ripper, Mad Max

(Skill choices altered slightly to adjust for LRB5 standards - reroll and Nurgling prices dropped by 10K to compensate for the fact that this team wasn't designed to face non-stunty teams. Stars were just picked from the range used for Chaos and or Goblin/Ogre teams.)

Allow Nurglings Mutations on normal rolls (to make up for their pathetic agility) and run with it. The team will be worse than other stunty teams, but Regenerate is a nifty ability for improving the chances of development.

thanks for all the help guys! just one question what does the beast skill infect do???
i'm going to give the fumbbl roster a try in a normal league and see how it comes along! also i'll post up some pictures of the team in the next day or 2
