Regarding the occasional porn posts which make it on to the site, if TBB works at all like some of the other sites I work with, it is impossible for a MOD to delete the thread if someone replies to it. However, if nobody replies, the entire thread can be deleted without any public record.

Moral of the story- if you want a thread deleted, PM a MOD, don't respond to the thread.

Jural is correct. Responding to one of those threads just makes the mods job more difficult.

I've cleaned up both accounts that got through today and as they were from near identical IPs I've blocked the IP range they were using as well from the site.

Actually, it's easy to delete a thread, regardless of how many people have replied to it (it's just one button, though thankfully not near the "delete this post" button!

). However, replying to a porn post is a daft thing to do, as all it does is send a email to the spammer to say someone's replied to it, encouraging them to spam more.

Moral of story - see a spam, PM a mod/admin - don't post!
