Out 3rd year Blood Bowl season gets under way with Lincombe Barns 2010 event.

We invite all coaches to climb the ladder. 5 rules:

1. can only play an opponent once
2. Winnng helps you climb the ladder
3. the top 8 cannot challenge.
4. Apoth roles are made on a 2+ at the end of the match
5. Star players can join teams but will leave if the team loses.

And so the daft teams start to appear with a request from a coach for squigs.

Take one normal Gobbo roster
Add Squigs from the BB Compendium but change:

1. value increases from 50 to 70 K per squig and no hunter rules or herder coaches.
2. If the team has a troll then at the end of the drive he will try and eat a squig, role for casualty and place in injured/dead part of the dug out. Note 2 troll = 2 squigs eaten.

I think this year is going to be mad. And we are playing for the Thrudd sponsorship.

How can you only allow each coach to play others once if you have a ladder? If you win, then lose, and the opponent you beat wins their game....

Cunning mathematics:

TV/1000 * nWins = x

The small the x the higher up the ladder you are.

I am not a fan of ladders, but I wish you luck and fulfilment

The ladder could still assign you an opponent you've played... isn't the whole point to ladders that each side will tend to play the ones at their level rather than the ones far above or below them?

The only rule is the top 8 cannot challenge. You got to get into the top 8 to be in a competition.

The league is friendly enough to prevent abuse. But eventually the new blood will have to challenge the board leaders in hope to win and drag them down.

The commissioner will have the final say on challenges that are seen as 'unfair'.
