Ideas for new finesse team

Hi all,
I want to add a new finesse team to my BB tournament list of available teams.
I've had about enough 2-1 grinds - especially at tournaments.
So, with no fluff concerns (yet) what would be an interesting new spin on a finesse team?

Some sort of insectoid....
I am thinking along the lines of the Cho-Ja from Feists series of early books.

Hmmm - Trentus, ST4 on the drones better be a typo.
So you're going with extra arms. Would that be worth it?
Also, I said no fluff concerns. That being said, I wouldn't mind if it would fit into the warhammery BB-background. At least loosely.

The Extra Arms, which is in their nature, makes them pretty much finesse. Don't know much about the Warhammer background really. Just thinking game balance and finesse in some way other than an elf.

it is where I was going although the matriarch is either a bit pricey for a secret weapon or needs loner.

A team with all dump off would be interesting to try and defend against.
I also think a better AG3 passing team - maybe with Diving Catch and long range passing (like my alternative amazons) would be fun

All Dump Off could become a nightmare if the opposition has 2 pass blockers, as they would be forever moving... the game could take an extra 30-40 minutes
Extra arms is a useful skill and with AG 3 is not overpowered.

I really like the thought of this insectoid team. Initial thoughts are for a team that relies on the synergy of all together:
0-16 Line 6 3 3 7 Extra arms. G. 50k
0-4 Blitzer 7 3 3 8 Wrestle. G A. 90k
0-2 Thrower 6 3 3 7 Extra Arms, Accurate. G P. 70k
0-2 Runners 7 2 3 7 Dodge, Fend. G A. 70k
Rerolls @ 70k (Tier 3) or 60k and Runners get NoS and cost 80k (Tier 2)

I don't want any new teams soon, I'm fine with exploring the 23 existing teams, but just for the heck of it...

I sort of see where you're coming from Da_Great, but I wanted the linemen to be the TD scorers (anyone can on a 2+) while the throwers were useful for hanging on to the ball and distributing, the blitzers for freeing the ball from the oppo (defence) or making holes (offence) and the runners useful for holding the attack channels open.

Hmmm, My thinking would be something like the Vanara (monkey people in the Ramayana).
AG 3, lashings of sidestep and maybe some shadowing and dodge. You could even have a Gorilla type big guy.
I'm just writing what come into my head here so it will be awfully unbalanced

I'm actually most intrigued by Ians thoughts:
AG3 team with long passing capabilities.
On the other hand, a team where everybody can catch would give a lot of interesting options.
So - perhaps everybody has catch, diving catch or extra arms. Or NOS?
And the team has 0-4 throwers, rather than 0-2 - so they can really shift the ball around.
Then probably a few blitzer types (S-skills) to spice them up.
I also like the sidestep base, but feel like the ogre team does this enough.
A jump up based team might also be interesting...
