Head coaches & Brilliant coaching

Post by Darkson »

Why aren't the Head coaches included in this roll?

And before someone answers, "because we both have head coaches", I'm thinking about if the HC is sent off, the the players will get less direction from the bench.

Actually he is included in this roll. Check your reference sheet again :)

Although they may be included in the reference sheet, they're definitely not in the LRB kickoff table. So the question is: Which one has the errata?
My vote goes for the LRB kickoff table (th reference sheet seems more sensible)

Yep, the LRB is where I'm going from, didn't even think to look at the Reference sheet, and as the LRB/handbook are the official rules set, my original question stands.

Maybe I should add a poll.

I dunno why they changed it. Seems odd that they bothered.

Chet said at one point that he thought it was just an error in the typing like the removal of the max. FF 9.

We'll have to add it to the list.

On the subject of head coaches I always thought there should be some other downside to being ejected from the stadium rather than just not being able to argue any more calls.

My suggestion was that the lack of direction from the head coach meant the team lost one re-roll.

Munkey - that sounds like a good idea.

As for counting them, yes I think you should, but only if they are represented by a model. Thats the rule we play in the GW store and it works quite well.

As most teams don't start with a lot of RRs, losing one for getting your coach ejected would be a bit drastic and would probably result in no one arguing the call anymore.
