NOS and FA

Now it's been confirmed FA works while prone, should NOS make the player ignore FA as well?

If it does, makes FA rather pooey and I would want to swap any FA for something else like guard. Be simpler if FA didn't work when prone.

Well, I agree about Fa not working prone, but it's here, so I was just looking at a counter.

NOS only negates TZs on passer and catcher, so wouldn't work against FA. I still say to split FA up into 2 traits, one for each ability (the one that affects passes and catches and the other that affects blocks).

I love FA and I wouldn't mind NOS (another great TRAIT) negating it's effects. I don't think that'd make it useless Grumbledook. You might want to change it but I think it'd be a good counter.

Torq, I don't see much support for splitting FA's 2 abilities. The "must roll a 2+ in order to throw a block" is pretty lame and would be a waste of a skill if it were a choice somewhere. It helps ocassionally but it's rare. It's a sometimes useful side ability at best.

Then increase the number needed to roll, like 3+ or 4+.

Then it'd be too good, I think. I'd might take it on a Gutter Runner anyway. Didn't you propose it only on ST3 or better somewhere? I don't see it being a skill someone like that needs as badly as those players that almost automatically get 2 dice against like ST2 players.

As the NoS players cannot be affected when they're passing and catching, I'd say that it's a good thing that they are affected by FA.

Why not the other way round (i.e. NoS is not affected)? Because NoS is found far more often than FA. It would be stupid to have the more frequent trait dispell the less frequent mutation. FA affecting NoS players is thus the way to go.
