Talk Fantasy Football

Hi,

Although I mailed this to Fanatic, I thought I'd give everyone here at TBB a sneak preview. Andy said he might be putting them in the next BBmag.

Basically, I am not sure BB is really optimised for long term league play, as there are not enough "options" - once you've played 10 matches, another 10 is little different.

I am working on ways to expand the longevity of the game, introducing things like stadia, more crowd "interactions", inter-match events, and even player transfers/inter-race

Reason being - BB is superb as a one-off/small league system. Trouble is, I get into it, and get attached to my team and want to flesh them out in more ways, so I have looked at expanding this side of it.

I noticed mention of screaming fans but did not see the rules in the 1st file, is that in the other one?

Hmm, I don't think I clarified what a screaming fan is clearly. I have modified it slightly - those of you who asked for the files will get the new version in the mail

Now i understand completely, excellent work.

If have seen the idea work out a little bit, you can customize your own field. This means Home games and away games (fun), you could make your own home field a square longer (for skaven, and WE more difficult to score for slow teams) or shorter for slow teams (you have to pay for thi$). Or you could make a mudd field for orcs and dwarfs all teams exept orc and dwarf can no only go for it once instead of twice!!!! You can think off all sort of pitches. Once a long time ago I have found something similar on the internet if somebody is intrested I can dig it up!!! let me know, then I will post every little detail I have of this. I don't know if somebody else has any other fun ideas of customizing your on stadium and/or field!!!!????????????

Maybe an underground pitch! Due to low light environment eveyone loses one AG except for dwarfs and maybe some other freaks. Do dark elves see better in the dark? What about orcs/goblins? Skaven should be pretty accustiomed to this environment... Might be an option...
