i was just thinking about possible rules for using giant rats for blood bowl . the idea came to me whilst i was painting the new giant rats for warhammer especially the centar one . i do not know if this is a good idea but i was thinking we could use the rules for goblins or halflings just up the movement value. any suggestions . i personally think it would suit the skaven teams

They already have giant rats. They are called Rat Ogres.

Actually, Skaven are giant rats themselves, aren't they?

I've seen it, but I do not recall any rats involved.
Just the greasy duellist...

Ah, the ROUS. I remember someone having a Skaven team called the ROUS.
I really don't get the point of giant rats on a Skaven team. All the do is scurry about, you may as well have snakes on a lizardman team.
Use them as score/reroll/turn markers or cheerleaders, they'll look great.

Followed by female shreiking ... "Wesley ... oh Wesley".
==========================================
Used to joke that to attend Gen Con and get 1/2 the inside jokes you needed to have watched:
The Princess Bride
Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail
Star Wars (the original trilogy only)
Star Trek IV and VI
That would cover a basic understanding so you don't keep saying ... I didn't get that!

Lines heard during gaming at GenCon:
Player: My character continues to fight
GM: But he cut off your arm
Player: Oh that, its just a flesh wound!
cue swordfight:
Villian: I think you are about to die!
Player: Ah but I have a surprise for you!
Villian: And what would that be!
Player: I'm not left handed!
Player: My name is [insert name here], you killed my father prepare to die!
cue live action impromptu fantasy game
GM: The alien ship decends from the sky and blows up the Nuclear Vessel that you were on ... you are dead
Player [who has been doing russian accent from the start of game including calling the sub he was invesigating a Wessel]: Pardon me what did you say was destroyed.
GM: The Nuclear Vessel was destroyed.
Player: Ah good because I was on the Nuclear Wessel!
GM: [realizes he's been verbally outsmarted (which is how you win at this game)] You're right you were on the Wessel, so you are safe.
[insert name here], I am your father.
Oh please, just a little peril.
Like I said required viewing.
