Is this the first Eurobowl in which more people are playing in the EurOpen than in the Eurobowl?

Are there other means to pay for the tournament then through PayPal?

Hello chaps. Sadly, we've had to make use of the transfer window for team Two and a Half Men.

Merrick is no longer able to make is, so we've drafted in Richard Stephens (Smurf).
Only issue is, he's not had much response when trying to renew/reactivate his NAF membership and online log-in, so I can't be sure of his NAF name or number. Apparently he's e-mailed contact@thenaf.net, but had no reply, as of yet.
Given that Merrick was our token 'half man', a team name change may be in order, too.
Have sent this to Dave in response to the e-mail he sent out about registration, too. Hope that all makes sense!

Torsten, who normally very ably mans that email address, is currently taking a well deserved holiday. Apologies if you're experiencing an uncharacteristically slow response time (I'm sure he'll get to it, even on holiday!).
Smurf's NAF name / ID is smurf1917 / 17563. His membership expired Sept. 2015. If he has trouble with the website, give Rolex a shout and he should be able to help you out. We can of course always renew him on the weekend.
Cheers!

Will there be an official Eurobowl/Europen excel team roster?
I mean one with the logo and all, or do we just make our own?

There will indeed be a roster, we've been working away in the background with it and should hopefully release it to you all shortlyTraumstunde wrote:Will there be an official Eurobowl/Europen excel team roster?

Re: Eurobowl Wales 2018 27th & 28th October
Hi everyone!
I hope everyone is having a great summer
Thank you to those who’ve paid already, there are still some outstanding and as a reminder, all payments must be in by Sunday 26th August. Andy (Hawca) is on holiday for the next two weeks so if you pay during this time it will still be accepted but your confirmation will be sent when he’s back.
We have a different gift for you this time, we need team and race selections submitted by Sunday 30th September to allow us to prepare the tournament software. Teams and races will not be allowed to change once submitted.
Rosters are to be checked by your opponents and any issues (not that we're expecting any) to be highlighted to a referee. Please note that the refereeing team will not be checking rosters submitted.
For your convenience we have produced a roster sheet generator for Eurobowl and Europen. A big thank you to Twelfman for doing the hard work on these for us.

Speaking of gifts the picture you see contains some of mine that I’ve given and received over the years. The first are some of the dice that Wales has given to its Eurobowl opponents and then the rows lead into some that I’ve been lucky enough to be given by my opponents or opposing countries etc.
Team gifts haven’t been limited to dice of course, I’ve received a dice mat, miniatures, tokens and even a mouth guard! I’ve seen cakes, sweets and even knitted blood bowl balls!
Gifts to or from opponents aren’t mandatory of course but they serve as a great reminder for games, players and events over and above what the tournament organisers give.
We obviously encourage everyone to get involved with this but understand it’s not for everyone. If you do though don’t forget the hardworking 9 guys of the reffing team (hint, hint)

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.
