So, a good evenings fun against sigismund. 2-0 win to the dark elves but a 4-1 casualty win for the Underworld.

well the dice were with me for the first half, he injured a goblin early on a failed action

I then went onto injure/kill an extra arms thrower and KO about 4 others to give me a real advantage, I corralled the remainder into a small space near the LOS and scored.

the second half was similar in that I made most (not all) of my blocks and ball movement count, but Mark made an impact and injured 4 (2 si's) of my players and came close to preventing the 2-0 lead only to fall foul of 2 6's in a row for my +AG thrower to dodge into 2 tackle zones and pick up the loose ball to score.

after that it was close, neither of really managing much clear success.

good game and the underworld figures themselves were a high point for me, brilliant conversions and paint job.

Halflings suffered 7 casualties, Orcs suffered 0 (Morg's BH of Scrappa didn't count towards team)

he enjoyed it immensely and loved finding targets for his tackle Black Orc.

a new rookie took +ST

I have a ST1 Halfling with Fend (to give people that hit him room to enjoy the carnage)

I'm not that experienced with Halflings, but do you belive to be worth keeping the ST1 fellow for "Fend"?

for what the halfling team represent to me in this situation I will., normally I would cut him.

I opened the scoring and led 1-0 only to peak too soon....

next two matches on the docket are his undead versus

1) My Norse, he gets inducements
2) My High Elves, should be fairly equal


Undead are a great team for beginners so this should help him more with the basics, so will introduce weather now.

I would say Undead are the best team of all for rookies. The roles are so well defined, the style of the team is simple, elegant and "classical".

it could go t its up for him here though, depending upon the dice as he gets 540k in inducements against the Norse...

he is thinking Count Luthor and a Wizard.

Count Luthor has been a right pain in the first half, hypno gazing his way around and opening the hole for an equalizing TD by a rookie Wight.

the first half is over with the score at 2-1 to the Norse and the Norse to receive in the second half.

The Norse have suffered 2 injuries, (one Death that was apo'd to a BH; and a BH) and caused none so far.

the concerted blocking in the 2nd half first turn will help
