Re: DreadBall - The Futuristic Sports Game
$525,000 - DreadBall Mech - WANT A FREE BIG ROBOT?

Coupling speed and strength with mechanical precision and a state of the art DreadBall glove, these hulking Mechs are re-purposed military machines, kitted out for the battlefield (minus the big gun of course!)
The DreadBall Mech is the first of the multi-hex miniatures for DreadBall and the idea is that they are can be used across multiple teams, they don’t belong to any one race.
If we hit this goal, we will be able to produce the DreadBall Mech. As promised at the $500,000 goal, you will all get a free multi-hex miniature, and you’ll get to choose from the list that gets funded and add it to a pledge of Striker! The DreadBall Mech is the first to go on that list meaning by default, if we don't fund any others, you'll all get one of these for free!
Of course, variety is the spice of life so we’re going to be needing more on that list so you’ve got lots to choose from...

Hmm - gribbly!

Re: DreadBall - The Futuristic Sports Game
Ok, I'm cracking... I just wrapped up my reaper bones pledge, and I have this in my sights. I've gone from "is useful for bloodbowl" to "is not as useful as I'd hoped" to "okay, it's useful again, and now I'm keen to see how well supported Dreadball is as an alternative". I'm marking this mentality down as 'mildly dangerous'.
What pledge level have you guys gone for? I suspect the deal is reaching tipping point for striker level (currently 98+ models for $165 inc postage). Then, I want Judwan(Slann) pretty badly, so I'm looking at the S2 add in. It's $85 for a further 56 minis (and prone markers, though two of these are included at striker level). However, I can get three lots of 16 minis for these at $75 at normal level, so is it worth shelling out for the lot? I suspect it isn't... I may just grab a team or two (16 or 32 minis) for $25 or $50 respectively. Zzor and Robots don't interest me particularly, for example, so I wonder if it's worth kicking in the extra (to $250)?
Help! I may be developing a Heff-style addiction to this site, though somewhat slower. I missed out on the Apes and I really don't want a repeat of that...
Cheers!

Re: DreadBall - The Futuristic Sports Game
Less than 10 hours to go!
What an incredible few hours! We’ve already powered through two stretch goals since we woke up this morning, and we’re only $14,000… $13,000… $12000 away from the next one – it’s going up faster than I can type!
Huge thanks to those that have tipped over the edge and helped us out today!

The ultimate robot for the ultimate competition, nothing gets past the “Barricade”. This heavily armored robot is generally seen skidding around the pitch, ramming into opposing players and generally being a bit erratic…which of course, is half of his charm!
There’s much, much more still to come, and with expansions to existing teams and shiny new miniatures too, there’s something for everyone!
Not long left now – tell all your friends – this is the last chance to get everything at these crazy Kickstarter prices!

Re: DreadBall - The Futuristic Sports Game
I've been on board for ages!!!
Getting striker w/ the nameless spawn, the S1 Keepers, and the 2f1 Nameless and Zees.
I don't know which I'm more psyched for, the nameless or the Zees!!!
A whole team of cheating chimps! That's Gold!!!
I'd get a pitch if I knew the value for money was there... But $80 bucks to enhance a $200 purchase of a game I never played before... That's tough.
