have the base skeleton together, did my first modding other than weapons snips last night, will check and see how the loin cloth worked out when I get home from work. If all is well priming tonight and the Calgary Canada contingent will be sending these off as early as next weekend

Not that I want to complain at all, but usually, isn't the deadline more fall-ish for those things? Like October-November? Wouldn't we maximize the amount of minis completed by slow-painters/procrastinators by pushing it as bit?

You might get some more for the slow painters, but you would have to be pretty slow if you can't get one mini done between now and August, which brings me on to procrastinators - surely if they can procrastinate past August they can procrastinate past November so by extending the deadline for them you don't get an extra entrants from that pool.

Right as Loki has already pointed out we already have enough time to paint one mini. I hope I don't have to send the frog squad round to bully people into finishing. This may sound harsh but there will have to be a cut off at some point and we have already made that decision, so lets get painting peoples. You can do it!

Ok so I will be at Crumb Bowl in less than two weeks, who is going to be the first to finish?

Lunchmoney, Loki, DaPiranha, Hung Donkeyman, Maverick, all at Crumb Bowl or if your not going to be there then you could send it to me or pass it to someone who is going.

Having finished painting Humerus last night to as good a standard as I'm able (he's only the third mini I've painted in the last two decades) I've just gone and checked the sign up post to realise that I chose a squad number that was already taken!



So, I think I'll change from 15 to 18. I had already painted the number onto the miniature (thankfully, I've not done the base yet) but I should be able to alter the 5 to 8 reasonably easily.

I'm hoping to get the base finished in the next few days (life permitting) ready for sending Humerus off for his holi-bobs in sunny South Wales
