Nice! And I thought I was quick off the mark, with my model undercoated and the first layer of metal on his helmet done

As long as it's not rocket science, I'll stick him together at this end absolutely. I'm not the world's most clever modeller

Yeah, something like that. Cutting the tab and sticking the feet done with some green stuff should work too, no? Hope I am not stretching your good will too much. Alternatively use a slotta base?

Certainly not stretching my goodwill at all. Just stretching my threadbare modelling skills I'm sure I can achieve the task anywho, however I may defer to fallingdownjoe the next time I see him I'm mainly good with "insert 'tab A' in 'hole B'" sorts of things
