Pfft, those are rookie numbers. For some reason I have 11 treemen!mawph wrote: ↑Fri Mar 26, 2021 9:23 amAs an aside, despite already owning three treemen (all for bloodbowl), I am quite tempted to get the GW Tree and it's only partly because of the squirrelA further aside is that I've fished through eBay for the owl that comes with the GW Treelord kit too. I'm really on board with all the little extras that come with a number of the kits at the minute.

That's impressive! What do you use them all for?Barney the Lurker wrote: ↑Wed Mar 31, 2021 1:29 amPfft, those are rookie numbers. I picked up an order from the local gaming store (click and collect, obvs) this week and managed to avoid buying a treeman. I would classify it as "only a matter of time" however

Re: TFF 2021 legacy team: Black Orcs: Sign up and progress
made some progress.
i was quite pleased with the Akhorne the Squiggle....I think a strategically placed tuft / rock should help mask the messy left leg
bit more tidying up and bases to be done
Bonus goblin - was primarily a trial to see if halfling body could be used to create a more portly Gobbo

Re: TFF 2021 legacy team: Black Orcs: Sign up and progress
awesome stuff! Lots of good early progress this year too

The winner of first completed model to arrive goes to monkeytrumpet, whose model is currently in my car (after a socially distant outdoors in the snow bloodbowl experience last week...

I'm slightly stuck on how much armour my model has and where the white and purple bits ought to go... I need a bit of inspiration and then there will be more paint on my black orc

Would it be acceptable if I painted up a squig as a goblin?

@mawph - Could I contribute this year? I'll take a goblin #69 (a very naughty gobbo number!)

Right, we're getting into the final quarter of the year and paint brushes need sharpening! I've moved desks in my house, so later in the week you'll get pictures of those models I've already received on a new desk! (fancy
)
Nudges will start going out to participants shortly and hopefully we'll gather models in time for CHristmas this year

Re: TFF 2021 legacy team: Black Orcs: Sign up and progress
The observant amongst you may note that we're now into 2022 and time has disappeared from me! The aim ought to be to make this a 21/22 legacy team and get it finished. Picture incoming in the next post of the latest models and I'm (hopefully) off to a tournament at the end of this week to harass some folks into getting on with their models
Apologies and thanks to those who have sent models in already. I'll do my best to get this over the line (pesky real life and all...) We are just 4 black orcs away from a playable 11 though, so the end is in sight!
Also: enjoy the ogre sized black orc in the team photo!

Thanks for the update - have to admit I was wondering if the combination of covid and the spell where TFF was down may have been a bit of a death knell for the project.

Re: TFF 2021 legacy team: Black Orcs: Sign up and progress
I managed to get out of the house this last weekend and catch a number of participants at the Waterbowl

There's a hope that I'll get a team together by the end of April!
If anyone is reading this and can nudge AIno, or BillyDee in real life, please can you do so on my behalf

I am happy to collect models when I go to UKTC, so please do let me know to expect you if that works!
(If you've already spoken to Mawph about this then I'm expecting yours already)
