Legacy 2015 Team Choice Vote

Hi all, I've volunteered to co-ordinate the 2015 TFF Legacy Team, which I'm hoping will be the biggest ever! It's a World Cup year, so it would be awesome if a load of people going to the World Cup contributed, and we could draw the winner there, possibly with the winner using the team there! Of course, it won't just be open to WC attendees, but that will be the deadline (beginning of Nov 2015), and I will make arrangements to get all contributions to Italy. With lots of contributions we should be able to get a full team, plus stars, backroom staff, and could even move into fans, and I have plans for dugouts and that sort of thing if it gets off the ground...

I will also be promoting this on the various NAF media, and the BB community Facebook group, so hopefully everyone's OK with it being a general BB Legacy team (we're all one happy family!)

Hold on, what's a Legacy Team?

Anyone who wants to paints a miniature and sends it to a central point. Once all minis are received, a raffle takes place (one person, one chance) and whoever wins takes all the minis. See the previous teams here: http://talkfantasyfootball.org/viewtopi ... 58&t=37202

My first thought was a combined "good elf" team, as none of these have been done, and this would give wide scope for elfy contributions, all the stars, along with some specialists such as wardancers. Of course, there are other options, such as Vampire, with a whole host of thralls, possibly of different races, Amazons with a variety of females, which could double as a human team, or even include Norse, then Khemri, Lizards, Ogres, Slann, Undead

Voted new race. As long as it's not Khorne!

But seriously, whatever the race, I'm in, and I'd like to contribute a wizard: we had one made exclusively for our tourney, the Four Nations Cup, by Pedfro Ramos. I'd give one to this team.

I would prefer an open choice from the teams not previously done.

And not Khorne, obviously...

Following my instincts, I say Lizards or Ogres. Rationally, the good elf team is a good idea and has a lot going for it.

I've voted other - Undead. The scope for Zombies and Skeletons is very good

In fact, if you dont mind repeating a team, make it combined Undead/Necromantic. That way you need:
2 Mummies,
2 Wights,
4 Ghouls,
2 Flesh Golems,
2 Werewolves,
Plus many Zombies and Skeletons,
A Necromancer, plus maybe an apprentice or two,
Grave markers for when you regen a player (to put in the dead box, I like to do this at tourneys to keep count of CASs),
Dugout scenery can include boxes of limbs (for the Golems) and bandages (for the Mummies), a cauldron of "stew" for the Ghouls, spare corpses to replace broken Zombies and Skeletons,
plus what ever

Loads of stuff

That's a good idea, add a couple of extra mummies and you start to get close to khemri too

Weren't vamps and lizzies done before? I do remember doing a mini for a vamp legacy team. Also remember contributing to the chaos, necro, and dark elf teams, but that's about it. Not sure about this team. It's gotten to the point that I really don't recognise most people who post here on TFF any more (I almost typed TBB).

Pretty sure vamps and lizzies were done, about 10-12 years ago. I did a Count Luthor for it. Lizzies were done as well: I could contribute in time...
