Nuffles runny nose (10/05/25) Gloucester

Post by Stoneknight11 »

Hello fans of the noble sport of Blood Bowl!

Nurgle is ever presented always has it's way. They have taken a particluar interest in a series of games loacted in Gloucestershire, the home of the cherry and whites, cheese rolling and a thriving Blood Bowl scene.

I am are running this one-day, 3-game, NAF-accredited Blood Bowl 11s tournament.

Location
Gala Club,
Fairmile Gardens,
Longford,
Gloucester,
GL2 9EB.

Around 1.5 miles from the centre of Gloucester there is adequate on-site free parking for participants.

Format
The tournament consists of 3 games of Blood Bowl using the BB2020 / Second Season ruleset.

Coaches will play 3 games against 3 different opponents. The first round will be paired randomly, and Swiss pairings will be used for rounds 2 and 3. This will be a resurrection format: your roster resets after each match (no SPP, injuries, raised dead etc.).

The official Blood Bowl rules, and all current FAQs and errata published up to the date of the tournament will be in effect.
In the event of any rules disagreements, TO’s decision is final.

Team Creation

Tourplay link will be created shortly

All coaches will have 1.15 million gold pieces to spend on team creation, following the team creation rules for exhibition play detailed in the rulebook. From this they must purchase all their players (at least 11), re-rolls and any sideline staff such as cheerleaders, assistant coaches, or apothecaries (and their ilk).

Eligible teams include all official GW teams published up to the date of tournament, including Teams of Legend that have not been superseded by subsequent releases, as well as the Slann team from the NAF.

Inducements. Coaches can also spend from their treasury to permanently add inducements to their roster.
Eligible inducements are: bribes, biased referees, Halfling master chef, riotous rookies, star players*, and mercenary giants (11 players must be rostered first).

Team Tiers
The tournament uses a 5-tier system:
TIER 1 - Amazons, Dark Elves, Lizardmen, Shambling Undead, Underworld Denizens & Wood Elves
TIER 2 – Chaos Dwarfs, Dwarfs, Norse, Orcs, Skaven, Slann, Tomb Kings & Vampires
TIER 3 – Elven Union, Humans, High Elves, Imperial Nobility, Khorne, Necromantic & Old World Alliance
TIER 4 – Black Orcs, Chaos Chosen, Chaos Renegades, Gnomes, Nurgle & Snotlings

TIER 5 – Goblins, Halflings & Ogres

Tier 4 - 8 Primary & 1 Secondary Skill + 0-2 Stars (No Megastars)

Skills
After building a team coaches may add additional skills to the players on their team (Star Players may not receive additional skills), according to their tier, as outlined below. All additional skills will need to be correctly identified (Eg loom bands, skill ings etc.). Secondary skill allowances can be swapped for a primary skill. Upto 2 primary skills can be stacked on a player, though you can not stack primary and secondary skills on a player.

Stars
After rostering 11 players stars can be purchased as long as they are able to represent your chosen team though come with an additional cost the amount of GPs paid for them.

Hi, on the main tournament page, this is showing date - Sun 20 Apr and is grouped with other April tournaments, but the header of this page is showing - (10/05/25)?

I'm in for April but i can't do May so hopefully it's the April one ... 😅
Thanks
David

If by main tourney page you are referring to my calendar (I like that title:) ), that is likely an error on my part. Sorry about that. This thread is correct, as it matches the NAF listing.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.
Bribe level: good coffee.
