Just a reminder that the roster deadline is Saturday 1st March 2025. There is a spreadsheet you can use to submit them which can be found here: https://shorturl.at/OsE9k
Submitting rosters on time is the first tiebreaker.

Re: Kent Team Championship 2025, 15-16 March in Canterbury - Extra Capacity Added
This is an email that has just gone out to Captains. Sharing here to ensure as many people as possible see it.
Hi all,
This email is going to everyone I have noted down as a captain for the Kent Team Championship in 3 weeks time. If this is not you any more, please either let me know or forward to the appropriate person.
Please feel free to email (kentteamchampionship@gmail.com), or message me on Discord (stewbacca16) with any further questions.
This is a reminder that the roster deadline for the Kent Team Championship 2025 is 11:59pm on Saturday 1st March 2025. Submitting rosters on time will be the first tie breaker, so please ensure the rosters arrive with us by then. This means you have LESS THAN A WEEK to get them in. They will then be reviewed and we will get in touch with any questions we may have.
Please ensure that your roster is emailed to this email address (kentteamchampionship@gmail.com) by that time. There is a roster builder available here:
https://shorturl.at/OsE9k
It was noticed over the weekend that there was a minor issue relating to star players on teams that were able to select from a large range of star players missing some of those players available for selection. This has now been fixed on the spreadsheet. If you have already started filling it in and encounter the issue, please let me know and I will fix it in your version for you.
We will be using Blood Bowl Tournament Manager to run the event. That can be found here: bbtm.app. It is simple to use. Coaches will be able to view fixtures, standings (until near the end of the event when they will be hidden) and log scores. Whilst only 1 coach is required to record the score for each game, it is really helpful if both coaches do as this will validate the result. You will only need to log TD and CAS at the end of the game - it does not have a "log as you go" feature like tourplay.
As there is a Junior Award, we will mark all coaches eligible with a (J) after their names. If you notice that an eligible coach (must have been under 18 on 1st January 2025) does not have this, then please let me know and I will adjust.
Please try to bring at least 2 pitches per team. We will have a supply of spare pitches but unfortunately we do not have enough for every game.
If you encounter any issues with your travel on the day, please message ASAP. There is a Discord server for BloodBowl in the South East which is here:
https://discord.gg/xWNBrZMBq4
If anyone wants/needs to renew their NAF membership, then I can do this for you for £5 and get you your gift straight away. As I will be very busy prior to round 1, if you can either message me in advance, or grab me later in the event that would be ideal.
For anyone who wasn't in attendance last year, there is a fairly sizeable car park. If you are driving, you will come down a road to the right of Sainsburys and the venue will be on the left just after the gate. Please drive to the right of the building and continue until you find a large car park. Parking before this will potentially be reserved for other buildings nearby.
The room we are in is technically called the Harris Suite. It is in the Cowdrey Centre. We are playing on the top floor and the floor below it. Please come and register on the top floor. Lunch will be served on the lower floor, which is also where vendors will be and the bar will be open. (There is a bar on the top floor but this will not be open during the event). Registration and introductions on the Saturday morning and awards on the Sunday evening will be done on the top floor.
The entrance you need is being pointed to by head ref eldritchfox in this photo.
Looking forward to seeing you all in 3 weeks!

Re: Kent Team Championship 2025, 15-16 March in Canterbury - Extra Capacity Added
We've had a third of the rosters in so far. A reminder that the deadline is 11.59pm Saturday evening.
It has been noted that the email address was slightly incorrect in the rulespack - it should be kentteamchampionship@gmail.com - there was a t missing. Hopefully no one has had a bounce back and been unable to work out why, but just in case, that's why.
I'll be giving teams a gentle nudge tomorrow for those we've not had anything from.

Re: Kent Team Championship 2025, 15-16 March in Canterbury - Extra Capacity Added
Hi all,
I hope you are all excited and prepared for the weekend. A couple of last minute notes/reminders.
Registration officially begins at 9.30 to start at 10.00. The venue will be open a little before, so feel free to come on in. Please can captains register the whole team rather than registering as individuals. If there are any issues on the day, please message to let us know asap. Discord will be the best means of contact.
Please bring pitches, ideally 2 per team. We will have some spares but we don't have enough to cover the whole tournament.
There are few buildings on site. We are at the Cowdrey Centre which is one of the first you come to as you head through towards the car park. We are split across 2 floors - the admin table is on the top floor, with further tables, vendors and the bar which will be open on the middle floor. There is a lift available for anyone with mobility issues. For anyone interested, the building is named after legendary Kent cricketer, Colin Cowdrey (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colin_Cowdrey)
As there is a licenced bar, please do not bring your own alcohol on site. We will be providing you with lunch on both days but you may bring food/snacks etc. if you wish.
If you go outside to smoke, please move far enough away from the door so that anyone entering or exiting isn't walking through smoke.
There will be clocks for each round on the projector on this floor and on the TV screen on the lower floor. If you feel like you may run out of time, please look to implement a chess clock. This is especially true if you’ve got a team that involves a lot of dice rolls or decision making such as snotlings or vampires. When time is up, there is a small window to complete anything that may result in a score. Please do not complete anything more than ending the current turn and the opponent’s next turn. As soon as a score is not possible within these turns, you should stop playing.
We will be using Blood Bowl Tournament Manager (bbtm.app) for draws and scores. There is nothing you need to do in advance, but feel free to check it out. It is possible to add it to your phone in the same way you can do for Tourplay, although there is no specific app for it.
Finally, Thrudball tickets go on sale at 12 noon on Sunday. The first game that day is due to end at 12, so you should have no problem ensuring that you can get tickets if you want to go. If you are worried about over running then you may want to see if one of your teammates or someone else going can order your ticket for you in case you don’t finish on time.
Thanks! See you all tomorrow!
