Fail Bowl 2; Fail Harder will be held on Saturday 11th October 2025 at Leodis Games, Unit 10, Springfield Mills, Bagley Lane, Farsley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS28 5LY.

Fail Bowl 2 is part of the North West Tournament Series.

Cost = £17.00, Payments should be made via paypal to christopher.d.hill@hotmail.co.uk (please use family&friends to avoid fees)

Please include your NAF name and number in the payment notes, if a new NAF member mention this and include your real name.

No lunch is provided however there is plenty of local amenities.

Games will last 2h15 minutes, if you think you will struggle to play within this time please use a chess clock app on your phone or similar.

Special Rule
All self inflicted Cas by a Fail contribute towards your total Fails. So if you fail a GFI, Dodge, or roll Skulls, Break your own armour and cause a Cas then that will count towards your Fail total.. (Bloodlust does not count). There is a prize for most Fails.

Bring
A copy of roster
Models for any player on your roster, 3 block dice, 2D6, 1d8 and 1D16
Pitch if possible (preference on smaller pitches and BB2020 dugouts)

Tourplay & Roster Deadline
We will be using Tourplay to manage this tournament. We will create the event in tourplay and open up at least 3 weeks before the event. The reason we won’t do this until around that time is because Tourplay now charge based on how long the Tournament has been “open” and we want to keep these costs to a minimum.

Rules
Each Team has 1200 GP to spend on roster creation and must hire a minimum of 11 Players.
Any GP unspent at roster creation is lost and all Teams are considered to have the same Current Team Value (CTV) for the purpose of inducements and prayers to Nuffle.
This is a resurrection tournament, no SPP is gained, and injuries or deaths do not carry on from one game to the next.
Players added to a Team roster mid game as a result of the Masters of Undeath or Plague Ridden special rule are removed from the roster at the end of the game and do not carry on to the next.

Tiers

Only one skill per player and only four additions of each skill are allowed on a team. The skills packages are tiered by race:

Tier 1: Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf, Dwarf, High Elf, Lizardmen, Norse, Orc, Shambling Undead, Skaven, Underworld Denizens, Wood Elf, Necromantic Horror.

Tier 2: Black Orc, Chaos Chosen, Chaos Renegade, Elven Union, Human, Imperial Nobility, Khorne, Nurgle, Old World Alliance, Slann, Tomb Kings, Vampire.

Tier 3: Goblin, Halfling, Ogre, Snotling, Gnomes.

Tier 1 : You may take either 4 Primary & 1 Secondary or 5 Primary
Tier 2 : You may take either 6 Primary & 1 Secondary or 7 Primary
Tier 3 : You may take either 7 Primary & 2 Secondary or 9 Primary

Teams start with 0 dedicated fans.

We will be using the exhibition Prayers to Nuffle table.

Inducements
Permitted inducements are:
0-1 Team Mascot for 30k, available to all teams.
0-1 Weather Mage for 30k, available to all teams.
0-2 Bloodweiser Kegs for 50k each, available to all teams.
0-3 Bribes for 100k each, or 50k each for "Bribery and Corruption" teams.
0-1 Josef Bugman for 100k, available to all teams.
0-1 Mortuary Assistant for 100k, available to teams with the
"Sylvanian Spotlight" special rule.
0-1 Plague Doctor for 100k, available to teams with the
"Favored of Nurgle" special rule.
0-2 Wandering Apothecaries for 100k each, available to teams that can
include an apothecary.
0-1 Master Chef for 300k, or 100k for Halflings
Swarming and Riotous Rookies are allowed for Snotling teams!

No Skill Stacking allowed

Star player cost: 000-099k, lose 1 Skill
Star player cost: 100-199k, lose 2 Skills
Star player cost: 200-299k, lose 3 Skills
Star player cost: 300k-399k, lose 4 Skills

Banned Star Players
Griff Oberwald, Hakflem Skuttlespike, Morg 'n' Thorg, Bomber Dribblesnot, Cindy Piewhistle, Deeproot Strongbranch, Kreek Rustgouger, Estelle La Veneaux, Dribl & Drull, Varag Ghoul-Chewer, Skitter Stab-Stab.

If both coaches roster the same star player they are both banned for the match.

All other inducements are not permitted.

All skills must be chosen and cannot be random.

Extras
BB2020 rules will be used with the following exceptions/additions
Skills package based on team tier (see above)
All teams allowed including the NAF Slann roster and the new GW Vampires will be used
No Illegal Procedures.
No special play or dirty tricks

Painting
Painted teams are mandatory, this would mean 3 colours and based.
If you cannot paint a team on time please email the organiser and see if we can help you with alternative arrangements but I cannot guarantee this.
