The Kinning Clash 2026: 7th and 8th February 2026 (Glasgow, Scotland)

Post by thebunneh »

The Kinning Park will be hosting our first Bloodbowl tournament in Glasgow in 2026 to celebrate our 1-year season for the Bloodbowl league as well as for the club that hosts all this the Caledonian WildCats.

TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE from our Club website https://caledonianwildcats.square.site/

More details for travel, sponsors, found and refunds can be found from the PDF on that website as well as the PDF on the NAF one at https://member.thenaf.net/index.php?mod ... ew&id=9902

Information
COST: £40 (If you are not a NAF member you will need to bring £10 with you on the day, however if a NAF rep is there you will instead only need to pay £5 for Registration.)

This Tournament is a Progressive Skills Format. Your whole roster is set before Games 1,3 and 5. Every player decides what skills on which players will be activated during the next 2 rounds up to the round skill limit. These are kept secret and shown to the TO before pairings to make sure it is done correctly. More information on this is down below.

As per NAF guidelines, the documents that make up the tournament rule set are:
- the rules in the BB2020 starter box;
- the Teams of Legend document, released by Games Workshop and hosted on the Blood Bowl website;
- the FAQ, Designer’s Commentary and Errata, hosted on the Blood Bowl website;
- the rules for Slann as per the NAF website

Teams fall into the following categories:

Tier 1 - TV1150
Amazon, Dark Elf, Dwarf, Lizardmen, Norse, Orcs, Shambling Undead, Skaven, Underworld Denizen, Vampires, Wood Elf

Tier 2 - TV1170
Black Orc, Chaos Chosen, Chaos Dwarf, Chaos Renegades, Gnome,High Elves, Elven Union, Human, Imperial Nobility, Khorne, Necromantic Horror, Nurgle, Old World Alliance, Slan, Tomb King

Tier 3 - TV1190
Goblin, Halfling, Ogre, Snotling, Stunty (Black Orcs, Underworld & Lizardman)

Coaches have Treasury equal to that as defined in their tier above to create their starting team rosters, not counting allocated skills for your teams.

The tournament is resurrection style, meaning no injuries or deaths during games carry over into the next game.

Team rosters must consist of at least 11 players. All Star players are banned.

Inducements allowed are as follows:

Permitted inducements are as follows:
● 0 - 2 Bloodweiser Kegs
● 0 - 3 Bribes
● 0 - 2 Wandering Apothecaries
● 0 - 1 Mortuary Assistant
● 0 - 1 Plague Doctor
● 0 - 1 Riotous Rookies
● 0 - 1 Biased Referee
● 0 - 1 Halfling Master Chef

Once your starting treasury has been allocated, teams will be granted skill points based on the following tiers.

Tier 1 Teams: 7 Primary Skills and 1 Secondary Skills
Tier 2 Teams: 8 Primary Skills and 1 Secondary Skills
Tier 3 Teams: 6 Primary Skills and 3 Secondary Skills

All skills are assigned before the tournament begins (i.e. no progression) and should be reflected on team rosters. There is no limit on how many times a skill can be taken.

During the Tournament

Before the tournament begins at registration, each coach during registration will be handed 2 copies of their team roster. Below, they will allocate what players with allocated skills from above will be active during Round 1+2 and Round 3+4, during Round 5+6 the whole team will be active.

You do not lose any players; you just receive the same player but without the additional allocated skills.

The skills that will be allowed during which round for each team are the following:

Tier 1 Teams: Round 1+2: 3 Primary
Round 2+3: + 2 Primary + 1 Secondary
Round 5+6: + 2 Primary (Whole Team technically.)

Tier 2 Teams: Round 1+2: 4 Primary
Round 2+3: +2 Primary + 1 Secondary
Round 5+6: + 2 Primary (Whole Team technically.)

Tier 3 Teams: Round 1+2: 3 Primary + 1 Secondary
Round 2+3: +2 Primary + 1 Secondary
Round 5+6: +1 Primary + 1 Secondary (Whole Team technically.)

An Example of this is shown below:

A Tier 1 Undead Coach is taking 2x Mummies (1 Guard, 1 Block) 2x Wights (1 Tackle,) 4x Ghouls (2x Block, 2x Wrestle) and 5x Zombies (1x Block) in addition to their RR, inducements, etc.

They have declared during registration before pairings that Round 1-2: Wight (Tackle,) Mummy (Block) and Ghoul (Wrestle,) are active, Rounds 3-4: Ghoul (Block),Mummy (Guard,) Zombie (Block,) is active in addition and Round 5-6: 2x Ghoul (Block & Wrestle) is active in addition.

Points will be allocated as follows:
