In 2004 a lot of things happened...

Facebook was born...

Return of the King won a bunch of Oscars...

Construction began on the Burj Kalifa...

The first album by Franz Ferdinand and Kings of Leon was released...

And also, a group of 20 hard-nosed Blood Bowl coaches battled it out for the first time in a Bilbali Cup.

Now, the tournament looks slightly different...

In the year 2025 the Bilbali Cup will celebrate its twentieth edition in its different formats throughout history. We want to celebrate with you such a special birthday and we are going to go all out trying to make the Bilbali more memorable.

Apart from the usual tournament, we will invite all attendees to a big party with drinks, live music, souvenirs, tributes, surprises and lots and lots of fun on the night of Friday 18th.


WHAT?
Resurrection and Swiss tournament by teams of 4 and 8 rounds in total: 3 on Friday, 3 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday.

WHEN?
From July 18th to 20th. 3 days of Blood Bowl and party!

WHERE?
Almost certainly at the Pabellón de la Casilla, in the center of Bilbao, like the last edition.

HOW MUCH?
We don't know yet, but you can start saving now!

HOW?
The rules will be similar to the last edition, with 4 different packs in which players face each other by packs.

WHY?
Because there will be a party on Thursday, a party with surprises on Friday, laughs and prizes, solidarity raffle, giveaways and lots and lots of Blood Bowl.

CAN I SIGN UP NOW?
No. Soon will be published in the usual channels both the method and the opening date of registration. Do not be anxious.

AT 00:00 ON THE 10TH THE ‘REGISTER’ PAGE ON THE WEBSITE www.bilbaliteamscup.com WILL BE AVAILABLE.

There you will find a form to fill in with the following information: Captain's name, contact email, contact phone number, Team name and number of coaches of the team.

Once the form has been sent, you have 14 days to make the payment. All the payment information will be sent to your contact email.

1) You have on the web the final list of the teams registered 100% (paid). These are the teams that registered in the first wave and they are a total of 109.

2) That leaves 11 slots to reach 120, the current maximum capacity.

3) Teams interested in going who have filled in the form: we have 25.

Hello all,
We have finally managed to increase the tournament capacity to 128 spots, that is something around 520 coaches (taking into acconut the 5 coach teams)!!

Currently, there are 109 teams registered, which means we can accommodate 19 more teams out of the 24 that filled out the Interested Teams form. Unfortunately, this means that 5 teams will not have a spot.

To decide which 19 teams from those 24 interested will enter the tournament, we have decided to hold a draw. This draw will take place live next Wednesday, the 29th, at 10:00 PM (GMT+1) on the Twitch platform, on the Vikingkop channel (https://twitch.tv/vikingkop), memeber of the Bilbali tournament staff.

During the draw, we will determine which 19 teams will enter the Bilbali 2025 and establish an order for the 5 teams that will remain on the waiting list.

The teams selected in the draw will receive an email saying so and they will have 15 days to make the payment corresponding to the number of coaches (400€ for teams of 4 and 500€ for teams of 5). If the payment is not made within those 15 days, their spot will be given to the next team on the waiting list.

Good morning!

Surpassed the deadline and all the teams pending payment have met the deadline so we already have the 128 teams that will gather a total of 518 coaches in Bilbao in July this year.

You can see the final list on the website in the section REGISTERED: www.bilbaliteamscup.com

Unfortunately we have had to left 5 teams out of the list, without a place. Believe us when we tell you that it hurts our souls to have to leave you out and that we are still seeing how we can make it possible to include all the possible teams and go up to 132 teams. We are still working and we will tell you something definitive, I guess this month or at the beginning of March. We are going to very high numbers of people in the pavilion and we are already talking about limitations by the pavilion managers due to security issues, etc.

The whole issue of signing up for the Saturday dinners: on the 13th of March at 00:00h (GMT+1), that is the night of Thursday to Friday, we will open forms to sign up for the saturday dinners. Each person who fills in the form will be able to sign up a number of people, so it is not necessary to sign up individually, but the captain or whoever can sign up the whole team and/or accompanying persons (couples, etc.). As always, remember that this is a dinner for the players and their companions, it is not a dinner to sign up your whole gang who have nothing to do with the tournament. As the capacity is limited, 90 for Txoko Piperrak and 70 in the Cider House, if you want to go to one of these dinners we recommend you to sign up as soon as possible. We will make the cut in order of registration.

Hello everyone!

Some news and announcements.

1. We have reached an agreement with the managers of the venue and in the end no team will have to stay out of the Bilbali. The Caps of these teams have received a mail to finish the registration.
Once that is done, we will go up to 134 teams! No less than 539 players. What a Farming great (and vertigo-inducing) number. :orc: :orc:
Of course, we can't accept anyone else.

2. The Protajer pack has undergone a change in the way it was written to make some issues clearer. I leave you here the extract and in the downloadable dossier of the website it's already changed.

Budget: 1.230.000

Up to 1.050.000.000GC to spend on the roster (Roster players, RR, Supporter, Incentives, etc). Minimum 11 roster players before hiring Star Players.

A maximum of 180.000GC is also available to spend on upgrades. The money from upgrades can be spent on the roster as well, but you can't use money from the roster to spend on upgrades. You are not obliged to spend all the money for the roster, but you will lose it if you don't spend it.


3. We have asked Dreamscreator to make some changes to the roster excel to make it more error-proof. We hope to make it available to you soon and that you can send us the rosters. The deadline for submitting rosters is still June 1st.

4. The 13th is still the chosen date to fill in the form to sign up for the dinners. We will let you know in time.
