Followed the instructions - downloaded version 3.0, unzipped it, double clicked the .bat file - but only get an error message saying it can't find javaw. No idea what's going on.

I'd try the latest version, but the mod apparently doesn't work with it

Im not sure Thads, Java Webstart should be included with your Java Download...

Just to check, I hope you dont think Im being patronizing... Run the command line (If you are windows thenhit start, Run, then type cmd into the wee box and hit enter, a black screen will appear)

Into that black box type java -version and it will tell you

I just downloaded all the Vassal Elfball components. I've never played the TT game or the Vassal verison, but I am anxious to learn.

Best thing to do is to read the rulebook (from the Impact site) and then have a play with the tool against yourself, then play someone online. Let me know once you've had a go with it.

It was 1-0 to Sann's Black Widows, despite only having 2 players left

Was a good game - first one with the widows, and I'm painting a team up. They're good fun!
