New League - Portsmouth/Havant/Chichester

Hi All,

After speaking to the Cakebowl guys last weekend, I have decided to set up a new league (Solent League) in the Portsmouth, Havant, Chichester and Petersfield area. The aim is to have 2 games per month, reporting the games back to me. I am going to be creating a facebook group for members to meet, and we can use this thread too.

So 2 games per month, 12 month league, 24 games in total. No player can play more than 24 games. Current clubs interested and willing to host games are Solent Wargamers in Fratton, Portsmouth, and Havant Wargamers in Havant. Trying to get some of the BRGA guys from Bognor involved.

Going to try and organize a 2 day Cup event to get this going and so we can all meet each other, etc.

Hi Thor, if you can can you put together a mailing list and keep me informed. I live in Aldershot so only 45 mins drive, I have mates down Portsmouth and I could do with getting back into playing. A structured league may be too much of a commitment for me but if you have a more open format I should be able to fit games in.
