I'm not bothered by swearing at all. But the fact that 3DB avoids it has always made it sound more "professional" to me, and I could see it being more accessible to newer players.

So I don't think the lack of bad language should at all restrict the enjoyment of a podcast.

Second that! I love me some swearing, but 3DB makes BB a classy lady.. I love Zlurpcast as well, though.. Need to check this one out:)

I just listened to the podcast where Nate tries to explain bloodbowl to two twenty-something female co-workers. I laughed more during that podcast than any I've listened to in awhile!

Thanks, Javelin! It is pretty funny. They are a little dippy naturally so that helps. We are trying to set up a good time for all of us to meet up so we can do a part 3.

Episode 17 is out now. We talk about setting up a year-long season for our league and the percentages for which teams are best at TTM. But we also have some things to think about- Claw PoMB being used would only result in BH, TTM can be used on prone players with Right Stuff, and the crazy idea of making the pushes on the Block Dice into Offensive Push and Defensive Push.

Hey guys,

Just listening to Podcast 5 - where you start by talking about rebuying your team if you carry it from one year to the next.

You get 1M and then can use banked money (over the course of a season) to repurchase players you developed previous years.

I was curious what happens to the players you don't buy? Are they available to "new teams" or do these players just get lost in the aether?

Explaining Blood Bowl to girls: 10/10, more please! Both informative and hilarious at the same time. I found it fun to listen how our host thinks he explained something but you can hear the girls misunderstand and it taking a few minutes to clear up. But great effort, very brave and the best thing I've heard on any BB podcast so far.

When will we hear part 3? I'm looking forward to the nailpolish-with-glitter-painted-elf and them actually playing the game.
