Good stuff lads. I have had the mighty honour of playing J Bone at the NAFC last year as I learnt how not to play Woodies.

Keep playing and doing this podcast.

Yes the kickoff table will F* you. So will the dice... so will your opponent... all in all Blood Bowl is a game about reducing F* ing up.

I remember that match well! It was quite close as I recall! I thought I had you on the ropes but you got by me in the end!

And I totally agree about your philosophy on Blood Bowl! My friendly match last night was full of pitch invasions and crazy statistical improbabilities! Got to love it.

I'm even later to the podcast party than frogboy but my friends in our league tell me you have a better beard than me so now I'm off to listen to your first episode with big beard respect (and, perhaps, just a twinge of jealousy)!

I wouldn't say it's better than anybody's... It's essentially turning into a Tentacles mutation at this point.

I'm familiar with that problem. I had to trim mine as the "under beard" (I believe it's called) began protruding beyond the "fore beard" (made that up but seems a good description)!

Anyway, sorry for derailing the podcast thread into a beard one... Perhaps this warrants a whole new topic!

I didn't say it was better than yours....I said it was "more magnificent" now you had yours trimmed!!

Also, on a beard related note I'm thinking of charging players with beards and additional £2 for Crumb next year (£1:50 for a goatee, £1 for that wispy fluff Merrick calls a beard)

Im hoping it will dissuade my ex-wife from attending.....
