J-Bone, I heard you talking about the Special Play Cards. Being on the cheao side (at the moment) I decided to make my own deck. I found some good templates here:

What I did was print them on some thicker paper, cut them out and put them into some of those plastic card sleeves you use for Magic and such. Something like this:



But of course, you could always go for the probably nicer way of getting proper cards printed.

And by the way: fun podcast you are doing! Since I myself only get back into the hobby, I have a lot to catch up on new rules, tactics and whatnot. Thanks for covering all the pt traps!

Impact Miniatures sell the special play cards for $20. Did you save money printing them out? Would have thought it would have been more expensive printing them yourself.

Eagerly awaiting the next episode guys. By far my favourite BB podcast ATM.

I think you've talked about it tangentially before but I would be really interested on how you decided on a format for your league. I am looking to start a league in the next couple of months and I am struggling with the sheer number of options. I think I'm particularly disadvantaged in that I abhor any sort of physical exertion, even in others, so even things like divisions, play-offs, seeds and rankings are all alien to me.

Hello chaps! Sorry for the late response... Due to all sorts of things (mostly me going on holiday and both me and Peter having a very busy couple of months) it has taken a while to get this episode out but it is now up! Episode 7... Who would have thought we'd make it to a full 7 episodes?

We will have some discussion about the state of the league in the next episode so we will make sure to cover how we came to a format.
