Ok, I was asked the question "what do you want to do?"

Cutting to the chase, GW have been told in the past that "we" the community who attend the GT didnt really want comedians, or this or that. So, how about some positive input on things we actually do want to do then.

They know a few will go to rock city anyway and like that tradition...but we found at the WC people were happy to just have a laugh and beer in Bugmans until it closed. Now, is it that simple? I was asked by the organiser to get some input from the guys who will be there...

Keep it serious suggestions please :D (Strippers and lion tamers are not going to happen ok, just before anyone starts that off).

What about extended hours? (And that is a serious suggestion)
I think you'll find most of the guys don't really "want" anything. Just a place to be able to sit and chat or play stupid games.

Yeah, longer opening hours would be good.

The other thing that always seem to raise it's (ugly?) head is a BB themed quiz.
But think of the arguments that could cause...

Definitely longer hours and at least a 1am close if not 2am. If they do have a quiz, can it be silent (hand out papers, collect them back in in 15 mins, teams sat round together but not allowed to move, look @ books, mobiles, etc.)

Also can they make sure that they open on Friday as before we've found things like salsa dancing and private parties. Or if they are doing this sort of thing then to reserve an area where people CAN be welcomed.

As long as we can sit around drinking and talking then I'll be happy. I personally don't feel the need for put on entertainment and I know that my friends who come will feel the same.

Friday night opening would be great.

Late saturday opening would be good.

Quiz was great last year! (Those 10 free drinks were very nice... :D )

Get the table football back in the bar - I missed that at the world cup.

Oh and make sure they don't run out of Bugman's Beer or glasses with handles.
