where can I read the rules for freebooting (cost)?

Don't understand a particular rule or just need to clarify something? This is the forum for you. With 2 of the BBRC members and the main LRB5/6 writer present at TFF, you're bound to get as good an answer as possible.

where can I read the rules for the prices of freebooted star players?

is it half the normal cost?

if yes, what if it's a 5k price?

Well, it is quite simple. Normal players and Star Players cost half of the listed price. If the price is 5k, it costs 2500 gold to freeboot. Freebooter rules are on page 42 of LRB.

The rules for frebboting star players is on page 42.

Yes its half the price (see page 42) and if it costs 75k you pay 75k even if the 5k you have left can´t be used ot anything except next time you freeboot something.
