The new HTML roster parser fixes the "Bold Tags" issue.
This is great, it allows you to use the great but currently a bit abandoned "Blood Bowl Team Creator" with Java Blood Bowl Bowl.
there are still a number of issues, but those would be improvements. As far as I know nothing critical prevents the use of the two programms together anymore by now. So why not link it on the JBB homepage along with the other editors?
A cosmetic problem is the layout of the HTML Roster, that can be customized via BBTC but gets reset every time the roster is updated by JBB.
I will put together a 100% LRB & EXP Teams.INI for the use of Java Bowl with Blood Bowl Team Ceator. There is one issue that bugs me, but could be easily worked around I think.
I plan to list all Star Players for their freebooting price in the "Java Blood Bowl " League Settings. Problem is, right now they would be added permanently to the roster when purchased via BBTC. As a fix, I wanted you to ask if it would be possible to remove Star Players from the updated team roster in the results directory.
You could still use a freebooted Star Player as part of your 11 player starting lineup, but that is one of the things that have to be adressed by a future version of BBTC. It would be nice if it was possible to include an old fashioned "Match Record Chart" with BBTC, just like the very basic "Team Editor" does. A more complex feature would be the selection of custom player Portraits and possibly Icons for JBB via BBTC.
Well Galak if you read this, I hope you have some spare time
