First skill roll he got +1 AG. Second skill roll I would have given him dodge (because he has a HUGE x marked on his back), but I rolled double 5. The + movement seems too good to pass up on. I would always take the + MA if it weren't for the fact that this is in a developing team (5 matches, 6 skills): he needs dodge asap to stay alive but I can't afford to let him score every td to get there because that would hurt the rest of the team developing. Dilemma...
AG5 leapers are also great, targets, but great. You would be able to get him to his next skill pretty soon, or he dies. Targets are also useful to make room on the field for other less dangerous players to move.
I had a similar problem with my first DE blitzer to get a skill, started with +1 Ag and wondered what to get next. Then rolled the second skill.....+1 St, end of problem:)
I wouldn´t take the +1 MA. 7or8 MA doesn´t often make a difference. Dont waste the double!!!

Oh, and how it makes a difference. One less square into the oppos half to be a scoring threat. One less GoForIt when you are out of rerolls. Ballcarriers that are thought to be "out of blitzing range" can be tackled (or must be taken back one further square). With leap later on he will just go anywhere and is unstoppable. (Maybe add dodge to that afterwards!!)
