Khemri Skeleton with double

Post by MieserMax »

Hello,

once agsin i am not sure, what skill/trait to give.

i have 8 skeletons, 2 with dirty player, 1 with AG+1.
Now i rolled a double 2 for the first skill of another skeleton.

Now i tend to give guard to the skeleton. I have 2 mummies with block and guard. One with only block and my last mummy has no skill.

3 Guard player on the line of scrimmage seem good to me. I am not fouling too much. In most games i clear the pitch with KOs an CASs. Another dirty player would be wastes right now. Of course, if my opponents all get block, i would need more dirty players.

Is there another option than guard/dirty player i didn´t think off?

You have 4 muumies, you don't need more bashing help so forget about guard. Your mummies will get all the guard your team should ever need and Skeletons on the line don't last long anyway. You need speed and ball handling and the ability to cope with the same from your opponent.

I'd consider Diving Tackle with tackle being your next skill on that guy. If you really have your heart set on making him contribute to the body count get Frenzy and push folks out of bounds.

Tough one. But I'd probably still go for dirty player.
A guarding skeleton is taken out of the line real quick unless your mummies have guard too.
Ever tought about mighty blow? Should give him more Spp's to get block.
Diving tackle might be nice too.
You need speed and ball handling and the ability to cope with the same from your opponent.
I don't agree. You have to cope with your opponent by doing what you're good at: beating the opposition into a pulp. Skills on ball handling, aside from sure hands, (speed does help you tough) are therefore a waste IMHO. You have to play your strenghts!

it is a tough choice for all the reasons stated above.

I'd either go for guard or dodge (with hopes of turning him into a blodger that can tie up big guys)

I would go for leader as you need rerolls and they are very expensive!
But guard would be a good choice, too!

Catch? Or is that generally a Blitz-Ra double?

I took leader, but only since my skelly got aging and MA-1. So he just hangs around for that extra RR.

Guard is nice, but not perfect on a STR3 player without block and/or dodge, he's removed easily, even on a 1DB.

Mighty Blow, then block, tackle would make him a scary backfield guard and frees up one Blitz-Ra that can concentrate on ball-carrying skills.

Frenzy, Diving tackle add interesting options to your very limited portfolio in defence (both) and offence (frenzy).

Finally i would consider Hail Mary Pass (followed by sure hands) as a defensive measure for the desperate situation where the ball is free deep in your half and a quick skaven or wood elf is about to pick it up and you can't move enough players in ... 62% chance (with SH) that the ball ends up close to their endzone (or in an area covered by several of your players tacklezones).

Frenzy, Then Block & Tackle to play backfield, and take out pesky Catchers/Gutters/Etc.

Or Guard, reservoirelves probably has never played Khemri, as 4 Mummies are not enough to beat up anyone, especially not with the new Ogre Team being official. Khemri can bash, so let them bash, and give him Guard.
