Oh decisions decisions
On the first skill on a Black orc i have rolled 11
so choice really boils down to
1) Take the ag
2) Just go with block as without block i find BOB's next to useless
Advice.....

I would always take Block first, and I would always pass up the opportunity gor a +Ag on a BOB, in favor of Guard, Tackle, Break Tackle, Mighty Blow and so forth. You don't need AG3 on a BoB, unless it's for fluff reasons, such a claiming the top spot for BoB throwers in your league

My Bulls have the "Thin Skull" trait. After every block they make, roll a D6. On a 1+ they get ko-ed and stay in the ko-box for the rest of the game.

i'd take gaurd first on a couple black orcs, and block on the next two, but voted block, since that was the "best" option.

Block the one i think - guard is tempting but i usually wait for a troll and give that to him (as i NEVER roll doubles on my big guys)
Many thanks for the replies

you want 2-5 gaurders on your team anyway (IMO) though before tr 160 ish, so it's hard to say "wait for the troll"
unless you are a mighty blow junky.

For me it would honestly depend on how many SPP's he has now. If he got it with an MVP and is at 10 or more, I'd go with Mighty Blow, becasue he'll get those 3 Cas quickly. If less than that, go with the reliable block.

Take the AG - it gives you an extra tactical possibility you didn't have before, and makes it fairly easily to score with him to get those next skills anyways.

guard, block, mighty blow. wither of those choices depending on what other teams are in your league and what other skills your other players have.
an ag3 bob is a luxury you can afford not to have for the time being. it's not going to be too beneficial at this time.

I'd go for guard or block. Choosing between the two is just personal preference. Mighty blow is good for getting spps, but won't improve the team in the same way as guard will.
