Dwarf Runner Rolls 12 on Star Player Roll

I got 6 +ST upgrades in a very short span quite recently. 2 on fumbbl and three in a vault league - all of which were witnessed by others.

Why?

I had a game with my DE's where my first 5 turns all ended on a 1-reroll-1 on the first action that required rolls. Add in turn 6's double skulls, and that's a 1-1 6 times on the trot.
Surfice to say I didn't win.

either that or the dice weren't "rolled"
