Just a sample of some of my non Blood Bowl painting efforts

Post by tomros »

Hello all, I am just starting at Blood Bowl but don't have anything painted yet. Here is a quick sample of some of my other stuff, hope it's not too terrible :D .

Some of my Tomb Kings

I have an Orc Blood Bowl team that I dug up at my mothers house recently, which sparked up my interest in Blood Bowl again, that I am getting ready for paint. They are pretty old, from 1988, and were actually purchased many years ago by my brother but never used. I look foward to painting them up and posting the pictures for everyones perusal.

I own one of these djinn still unpainted, along with about 100 other unpainted figs from this era. Nice work!

Thanks, this was my first attempt at conversion, the mace is added and was created using a Tomb King spear and flail combined, and my first use of a layering painting style. This is also my first attempt at painting gems and I think they, although in this picture you can only see the ones on his belt and sword pommel, came out pretty well.

Genestealers are also one of my favorites and to me Tyranids in general rule. The Genestealer models are actually what got me into games workshop the first time back in 1993 or so, now after quite a long break I'm back and loving it :D .

The Khemri unit is very nice.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
