Sorry for the doublepost. When time is short, the outcome can be a quoting instead of an editing :-?

Instead of taking Pass, you might consider Leader. Think of it this way...

You might only attempt 3 passes per game with a passer. So on average you might need 1 RR per game with a passer. So instead of getting a skill that you will use on average once a game, get leader which you can use twice a game!

It's just a thought. The only downside is that it counts as your team's RR that turn where Pass doesn't.

I doubt the effectiveness of leader on an AV7 player, which is meant to be somewwhat exposed (at least he should run to the endzone with some bodyguards but without block or dodge, so it's more likely that he will be blocked than any other player)

accurate is a better skill than pass if you have team RRs free. As you can't use these on dump off pass is invaluble. Depends if you want a better passer or just someone to dump off. Similar argument for NOS/accurate. NOS only benifits more than accurate when in 2+ TZs. If you find this is the case for you then NOS, if not accurate, as it is better for routine passing.

Only if the guy you're throwing to has Catch. (I'm not disputing anything else you've written. I just wanted to point out that when a thrower is tossing the ball to a player without catch you really want to use that team reroll on the catch, not the pass.)

I almost never have my Throwers knocked out of games, but now that you mention it, DElf runners do mix it up a bit more and get knocked out more, but you can't use Pass from the sidelines either, so the AV7 should not effect the choice of Pass over Leader. But you are right about using Pass on dump off, so that is something to consider.
