I have decided to follow the advice given in this thread and retire the AV6 berserker and bring in a Snow Troll for the play offs. I am likely to have to play Orcs, High Elves or Skaven in the first round. I will save up and get another berseker as soon as possible.

The berserker was an accident waiting to happen I suppose and if he died it was probably best he did not take too many skills or SSP with him!

Thanks again for all the advice.

Congrats,

But for your information (or further games): skinks can't throw a longbomb due stunty

You mean they shouldn't. Fumble on a 4-. But they can.

No the cant. The range is increased by one. So a long pass is a long bomb, and y<ou cant throw farther then long bomb. Thats it. Stunty does not give -1 to passing, but increasing the distance.

Perhaps you're thinking of an older ruleset? From the rules for Stunty, pg68:
but must subtract 1 from the roll when they pass
Stunties do not change the range, just -1 to all pass rolls.

Yep, stunty got changed in LRB5. Strong arm also got changed, so the references to changing the range band were removed.
