Sack a -1 ST linerat?
Playing Skaven for the first time really. Should I sack a -1 ST linerat, or is he valuable as fodder?

No skaven experience (when I get the Green Dog team I'll play them, honest) but a journey rat is going to be better at it's job than a rostered ST2 one.
So unless you're running high in numbers (unlikely with a skaven team in your run I reckon) fire him.
Not to mention, the cheap skaven stars are ok. Good merc options too.

Kick that bum to the curb asap. A "vanilla" player gets 2 dice on him, instead of needing an assist to get the same. That leaves that opponents other player free to assist somewhere else.
Worse yet, he might win MVP, which is just a sink of skill syou desperately need.
He won't be missed that much. Trust me.

However, having no player where the ST2 one could have been frees up even more opposing players. That leaves that opponents other player free to assist somewhere else.
Hehe... Or stick Dirty Player on him and have some funWorse yet, he might win MVP, which is just a sink of skill syou desperately need.

TR is TR. A 50k difference or a journeyman is worth more to me than a STR 2 skaven. Hell, if the journeyman wins MVP, you can draft him!plasmoid wrote:However, having no player where the ST2 one could have been frees up even more opposing players.
Skilling up players that are destined to be sacked seems like a major problem to me. I played Skaven last season, and your skills are your lifeblood. It seems like a luxury on bashers, but the rats need everything they can get.
Boot em , boot em, boot em. If things go well for ya, that slot might be riding the bench a while anyway.

Totally agree with plasmoid. If firing him takes you to 10 players, do it now and use a journeyman. If you'd still have 11 or more players, keep him until you have the cash to replace him. (unless by lowering your team value you will get more inducements against your opponants, then fire him anyway). Or keep him and give him sneaky git and dirty player.
