We Swedes went down another path:

First we pillaged, burnt and raped, then we enforced the (danish) jante-law on our selves. Probably for the better of humanity.

The Jante-law:
1. Don't think you are anything. (Du skal ikke tro du er noget.)
2. Don't think you are as good as us. (Du skal ikke tro du er lige så meget som os.)
3. Don't think you are smarter than us. (Du skal ikke tro du er klogere end os.)

Pretty much the opposite to Danish sarcasm.

Swedes don't exist. There are only dyslexic Danes who were cast out long ago, and formed their own little country Seriously, to us, Norwegian looks like Danish spelled the way it is pronounced, and Swedish is somewhere in between.
