Isn't it easier just to score 1st to 10th place? Then you don't have to muck about with the 40-50 odd coaches that were at an event but didn't "place".

Given the scores last year and Lycos' storming start this, anyone with less than 3 top ten finishes is not getting to figure in any case.

Special mention for Jimjimany, who is the only person to score a top 10 finish in all 5 UKC events so far this year.

Still wide open at this point with 4 events left, incredibly close at the top with any one of the top 6 capable of taking an outright lead with a single result. Very cool after it looked like Rycos might run away with it early on. Rycos, Captain Gegg and the Bum Monkey are particularly well placed with a win in any of the remaining events likely to clinch it. It is going to take a very impressive effort for anyone other than those 6 to figure at this point.

I think after AlbaBowl and Carrot Crunch we'll have a firmer picture, although the scores on the board means we'll definitely not know the winner until after the last event (unless certain people don't go to it).

So who do you think will win? Can Rycos win it 2 years running? Will the Gegg convert his impressive recent form into another win?
