[PC game] 2nd double on a Krox

Bearing in mind this is on a PC team, so only facing the nine implemented races, what would be better for a Block Krox that rolled a 2nd double (he hasn't got it, just I seem to roll more doubles on the PC than I do TT)?

Tackle - works with Pre-Tail
Frenzy - for general hitting
Pro - to improve all-round
Shadowing(?) - the PC has a higher % of MA6/7, and goes with Pre-Tail
Dodge - to go with Break Tackle (assuming I get it)
Jump Up(?)


Other than the Block Krox, only other stand-out players are a Block Skink and a new AG4 skink, and a Block, BT Saurus (only Saurus to skill up so far).

Frenzy and Pro are both good choices, IMO.

Both kinda accomplish the same goal, getting your Block/Mighty Blow/STR 5 player the most chances to knock the opponent down.

Frenzy offers you the added "pushing" ability like clearing sidelines and the such...

Pro will give you a reroll on only half of your block rolls that you feel like trying to Pro reroll, but as a added bonus you will fail Bonehead a lot less.

I would probably do for Pro.

Tackle is also a great choice if you use him to mark players (kinda like a Beast) but I like Tackling Saurus an awful lot. I would hit with a Pro/Block Kroxigor because of the MB...

Pro effectively negates loner, as it provides the same benefit without the risk of burning a TRR if you fail the roll to use it.

extra dodge is always nice, and taking a tackler off the skinks should surely increase the suvivability of the team as a squad.

I think I'd go pro though

+1 for Pro, the best anti-Loner you can get. Negating that 50% of the time makes Big Guys all-round better, rather than in just one specific area.

diving tackle! great combo with the tail and i would think the elven teams are the biggest problem

I like pro. It helps with anything/everything. Especially if you get break tackle later on...

This might seem boring, but why not Dodge? I mean, a Blodging Krox! Then, with Break Tackle, he can be wherever he needs to, with less fear of rolling 1s.

I would take Pro. The idea of a cage busting blodging kroxigor that gets break tackle is pretty cool as a blitzer, until he boneheads on you. Looks like you already have your designated blitzer with that break tackle block saurus, so I would get the krox Pro to make him as reliable as possible.

Dodge. Blodge is solid even if it isn't exotic. Pro is nice, but the last thing you need to be doing is relying even more on a big guy to make plays for you.

If you have enough guard by the time he hits skill 3, then you can give him stand firm and make him an utter nightmare to shake off a cage.

Dodge, then either Btackle or guard. Btackle blodge is a really annoying thing to behold, really. 4+ cagebreaking big guy, who tails everybody even if the blitz fails.

How does Break Tackle works in Cyanide's game ?

Do you have to choose when you want to use it ?
Does the pc automatically use it on the first roll ?
Is it used on the first otherwise failed roll (even if it's a 1) ?

Depending of those answers, Dodge may not be the best bargain, especially if you have to wait for BT to get the most out of it...

Othewise, i'd probably go for Tackle, it works well with his Tail, and it makes him a better blocker as well. (although Shadowing could be fun to test, as third or fourth skill)

I like Dodge and then picking up Break Tackle so you can move the Prehensile Tail Defense where you want it.

Diving Tackle is a great 2nd choice to me.

Those are my top two picks.
