GOD OF THE GOBBOS 2011, UK

THIS IS JUST FOR FUN....and maybe a bit of bragging at each other!

Basically anyone that has played Gobbos in a NAF rated tourni gets points.
The amount of points they get is dependant on how many Gobbo teams are present at the tourni and how well placed they did in the end results...

If your the only Gobbo team at the tournament you get 20pts.
If there are more than a single Gobbo team in the tourni then the points awarded are 10pts x No of Gobbo teams for first placing Gobbo then -10pts going down the list of Gobbo teams.
Even last place Gobbo team will get 10pts....you gotta get points for turning up with a stunty team!

So far trawled through 2011 results for UK tournis that had Gobbo players in it...here are the results so far for the 2011 Tournament Season;

Cpt. 4th -Place, AKA Glowworm!, grabs another 20pts at the Cake Bowl as the only Gobbo team attending and propels himself to joint 1st place, on 80pts....

SPIKY CHALLENGE CUP

Making a starting break into a crowded joint 7th place, Sann0638 with another lone attendee Gobbo team plucks up the 20pts. Nice!

WHITE ISLE STAR CUP II

That Danish Devil, Kfoged secured 1st position for the Gobbos and his "Cheese" ball carrying Fanatic!! He secures a joint 7th position among the growing throng of Gobbo players....even if he is "Jonny Foreigner!"

Talking of foreigners, Phil78, that jovial-jock from waaaay- up north, just lost out to KFoged with gobbos , but proudly joins the ranks of the G.I.T's (Glowworm Infected Trauma) with a starting 10 pts

CARROT CRUNCH V

It seems that Xod was the only willing Stunty player to attend said Crunch of Carrots with his merry band of tiny greenskins the "Lowland Lunatics", winning the Stunty Cup and more importantly, 20pts for the God Of The Gobbos ladder! Well done Xod, put the rest to shame

GERT-BOWL

Will it seems that the head G.I.T, Glowworm brought his followers to the Gert this years. An impressive 4 Gobbo teams attended...with three off them ending up guarding....LAST PLACE....LAST BUT ONE..&...3rd FROM LAST!...Nice job lads!

Taking a massive lead in points compared to all the other Gobbo teams, Shonkor takes his first big step onto the God-Of-The-Gobbos ladder with the top 40pts. This rockets him up to joint 6th place with the likes of Pippy. Great performance Shonkor
The G.I.T himself turned up and lead a valiant rear-guard action with the three remaining Gobbo teams coming 3rd from bottom. Yes I was surprised as well...thought he'd at least get 4th from bottom
Glowworm takes 30 pts and propels himself clear into 1st place.
Newcomer T.E.S.T.22 opens his batting with 20pts and a start on the Gobbo ladder.
Another newcomer, Lueychuey, brought up the last place in the tournament (SPOON!) and in the Gobbo running, but can proudly be the owner of his first G-O-T-G 10pts!

Another newcomer to the Gobbo ladder was Battlepuppy, the only Gobbo player and one of only 2 stunty teams to attend and also the Stunty Cup?!? Well done chap good to see a new face join the Gobbo fun and get themselves a starting 20pts for the ladder

THRUDBALL 2011

A massive turn out of G.I.T s at the Thrud this year with a whopping 7 midget greenskin teams!

Thechosengobbo by name Thechosengobbo by nature, getting top points for the event and a massive opening bid for his UK gobbo team on the ladder netting 70pts! and a joint 3rd place!
The Gobbo leader himself did not let the side down by taking the 2nd spot and hammering home is 1st place on the ladder.....G.I.T!
Following closely behind with his opening gambit with gobbos was alround good guy Diamond Joe Quimby grabbing the 50pts and a joint 5th overall.
Duttydave and his green horrors also make a late start on the ladder, with mid table finish and 40pts. He moves straight into a joint 6th.
Another vet of the Stunty teams, Lunchmoney, gets going with gobbos and a first opening tournament of 30pts and a joint 7th place on the ladder.
New player Charon enters the Thruball fray and sweeps up 20 pts to join a busy joint 8th.
Being seen regularly on the stunty scene, Trainspotter ropes in the last dregs of points and starts his climb off the bottom rung, and moves up to 8th place.

Thrudball was rough on my Goblins.

Out of six games they played three against Norse teams each with ample servings Mighty Blow.

At least the games went quick when you only have about 5 players left in the middle of the second half.

EXILES ~ Rise Of The Cheerleaders

Fish Fingers was the only lone Gobling player gaining 20pts and boosts up the ladder from a messy 7th to a three-way split at 5th place with 50pts. Another rising G.I.T in the making!
