Awesome traveller, did you print those legendary edition posters yourself?
My pledge is to get the GW human team and paint it to tabletop standard along with halfling coach, that and to get to the chaos cup.

That was a good one, Dave! Nope, that a neighour house. I just got one room for all my stuff and no basement in our house.

Kind of... i enlarged and edited the very good tiffs which i got from the website (being a graphicdesigner helps a bit with this work)
and working in a TV station with a print department helps to get large prints, too.

I still got two more different posters prepared, but i dont have any more walls to put them on.
And I can say, its not easy to expand my BB territory over the borders of my room...

#1 Win TLoEGBBL 2012, second place is not good enough next year. Putting my faith in Swoosh, AG5, B+D, SS Orc Blitzer. Fingers crossed.
#2 Finish my CD's, not far to go, maybe 75% done with the whole team (And make a new mino, Greebo!
#3 Figure out a paint scheme for my high elves. They are converted and ready for paint, but that's about it.
#4 DON'T BUY NEW STUFF BEFORE OLD STUFF IS FINISHED.

That's about it.

Okay then... In order:

1. Buy a house
2. Get all our stuff out of storage
3. Hope my bb stuff has survived the round the world trip!
4. Buy new paints to replace those that will inevitably have dried out.
5. Start converting (and FINISH), my de and underworld team
6. Paint said teams...
7. Find and say hello to Kyle and other melbourne based players (if anyones keen?) for my first table top game in about 15 years! Literally. I've been painting and collecting and playing the computer game, but haven't played the real thing since I was a kid!!!!

So, should be easy enough!

Ok, I can vouch for my guys here.

Convert and paint my AoW Berzerkers into a ready team for SSB this year.
Paint up a Star Player Elf for SBB this year.
If I get burn out over these I will convert and paint my Dark Eldar/Elf team for the end of the year.

Hopefully I can continue my trend of 2 teams a year.

I pledge to be more productive than last year and to give myself tougher deadlines so I don’t spend months on the planning stages only to lose interest when I see another lovely new model that would be perfect to convert into a BB player.

I am working on Amazons, Chaos Pact, Khemri and Goblins and hope to finish them all in 2012.

That will just leave Halfling, Ogre, Pro Elf, Slaan and Vampires to do and I’ll have completed all 24 teams. Though I do have some interesting ideas for a 2nd version of Chaos, Dark elf, Dwarf, High Elf, Human, Orc, Skaven and Wood Elf teams. Oh and I could always do all the stars and coaching staff for all the teams too.

My aim is to own all 24 'completed' teams. By completed, I mean:
- Everything fully painted and based.
- Full positionals and excess linemen (Usually shooting for 16 players minimum).
- Three distinct markers for each team (Turn/Reroll/Score)
- An apothecary for everyone who can take one.
- A wizard for every team.
- Every star for every team.

I allow myself some shared models if they for the basing and theme of each team (ie. A goblin apothecary could work for Underworld and Goblin teams assuming they are based the same).

Think I'm already 75% of the way there, only three teams left to paint. Spent my Xmas holiday counting what I'd need for all the stars, apo's, markers and wizards and think I have less than fifty models to pick up over the year to complete them. So all in all, maybe 100-150 models to have everything complete!

own all 24 teams? that'd be pretty nice. I was counting the other day, I think there are only 7 teams I haven't painted yet (but some teams I've done several of)
I'd like to paint at least 1 of each team, but for myself/keep them.. that's a goal for a longer stretch than 2012.

for 2012, I'd like to paint the three 2nd ed. teams I got minis for recently: orcs, skaven & elves.
I also need to paint my team for the league starting in January,
also on the list is a converted Ogre team I got some minis & parts to make this summer: it hasn't happened yet.
I've also got High elves, Norse & Underworld in early stages to be finished.

that's probably already too much to expect in 2012, so I'll try to pledge at least 4 of the 8 teams above.

For fun and trying to paint something unplanned for now and then I'm planning to try to paint a mini for each of the painting challenges.

I own 16 or more minis for every single team now. I even own counters for a lot of them (and a spare box of 'generic' counters for the others). For this year I'd like to have everything I own built, and I'd like to finish off painting the 10 teams I have that are currently 'almost done.'

Seriously, It's getting silly. The best example is that I've needed to paint a Bomber to finish my goblins for the last three years now It's the same for a lot of teams, I need to paint (I think) 2 Skinks, 3 Wood Elves and an Amazon to be able to finish off 3 whole teams.
