Hehe, shake shake shake those Mini Cocktails.el Superbeasto wrote:I'm not at home right now so I can't double check but I'm pretty sure all my experiences with Vallejo - good and bad - are based in their Model Color series plus their washes. (Not a big fan of their washes BTW.)

Vallejo should really put marbles/bearings in that range.

Some excellent advice in here! Decided i am going to 'try' and paint up my first team! So will bare this lot in mind!
One thing i am curious of, i saw this painting station on the GW website. Is there anything equally useful or better out there which costs slightly less? Im looking to keep most things tidied away together!

I can recommend these from http://www.hobbyzone.pl/en/:Zoglug wrote:Some excellent advice in here! Decided i am going to 'try' and paint up my first team! So will bare this lot in mind!

(This is the small one. They come in three different sizes. Just make sure to measure up beforehand so you don't end up with a too big station. The small one's probably the best for most people. Also, you can choose between two different hole sizes and even have a combination of the two.)
They are quite cheap but you have to add around €20 postage. However, postage stays more or less the same no matter how much you buy from them, so if you can get just two friends to join in on the order, it's still cheaper than GW and a much nicer product.
Further, they have benchtop organizers, paint stands AND my new personal favourite; dice towers!

Yes, yes, I know, they seem ridiculous at first BUT... They are actually really fun to use plus they remove the risk of some fool turning over all the miniatures when slamming their dice cup on the table...

You can read a nice review of their products here:

eBay second hand bits. Very cheap and if you paint as slow as me they will last for years
