If you cannot stall out for an 8 turn drive to score with dwarves then you need to go and play canasta with your dad..if you can find him.

But why a colour scheme red and white and a green and white logo? ????
Change either the players' colour scheme or the logo.

Thanks for the comments guys.

As for the logo first I'll explain the thinking behind it; it's based on Starbuck's logo with the Daylight Robbery strap line linking pirates to the price of a coffee in one of these places. Secondly as for the colours last time I looked the Italian badge/logo was Green, white and red but the team plays in blue...........................? But heh just for you here is another one!

PS: I'll see if I can put some pics of their Ship/ Dugout tomorrow, after all what good are pirates without a vessel!

Thanks for making the detailed pics. I love the team. I have myself one in construction (only the ogre is completed and the thrower is being currently converted, but...) and I'm always looking for ideas and inspiration. Nice work you've done there!

The explanation of the blue colour of the Italian national team:
"the traditional colour of the national team (as well as all Italian national teams and athletes officially representing Italy) is azure blue (azzurro, in Italian), due to the "Azzurro Savoia" (Savoy Blue), the colour traditionally linked to the royal dynasty which unified Italy in 1861, and maintained in the official standard of the Italian President."
About the Italian national team's badge, you can see that the green, white and red are surrounded by the blue:

P.S. I like your badge now, well done! :D It fits perfectly!

Re: All Hands on Deck! Now you can see the deck....

Post by neilnickson »

Hi as promised here are some pics of the ship/dugout, as Arthur mentioned earlier if you went to either Dungeonbowl or the NAFC this year you've probably already seen it. Pics have also been previously posted on the Merry Mayhem blog.

Here is the dugout aka Das Schwarze Schwein (which is German for The Black Pig).
Image

The gunports are open and filled with 'cannon' at the start of the game and as each turn is begun a cannon is removed and the gunport closed.
