Boooo! My tamiya varnish lid is welded firmly to the glass. Since my hands have the tensile strength of a five year old girl's, I'm powerless to proceed.

That looks great!! How did you do the star on his helmet?

The star is pretty simple - just some straight lines:



Step 1: paint an inverted V
Step 2: paint a horizontal line across
Step 3: join up the points
Step 4: fill it in

You can always go back afterwards and tidy up the edges if you need
