AS Revolution - CD Team

Post by Dave »

New team, painted it for T5:XI
Started sunday a week ago and finished on tuesday. (Basing and stuff on wednesday)

The weather doesn't really allow for nice pictures so we'll have to live with this.

they look pretty bright and colourful Dave, well executed and the turnaround time is impressive..

must admit to never having liked that Mino mini.. it's so... static.. maybe paint up another one after T5? There's plenty other old skool 2nd ed minis to pick from.. :D

but a good solid effort in a very short space of time.. good luck at T5. I miss you guys.. :blue:

Great looking team, a lot of character.

Personally, my first thoughts were "Wow, I like that minotaur" for what it's worth.

Why do you paint a team in a week and have it look much better than I manage in 3-4 months? :-?

Great team anyway, I thought the 2nd ed CD's weren't so cool, but you make them look great! :D

Nice looking team. That's actually my favourite of the 2nd ed minotaurs, so there's no accounting for taste :) Like the bull centaurs too :)

They both look like 3rd ed bodies on the bulls, never crossed my mind to use 2nd ed orcs for the hobgobs though. Really nice addition.

working on Nobbla and Zzarg atm.

Nobbla will be a cyclope CD with a tail (and chainsaw obviously)
Zzarg the classic rocketlauncher with the axe chopped off

Finally got round to finishing this team.
I did two hobbo's the other day and some stars to top it off

First there's Zzarg .. old GW CD with a bazooka .. chopped off his axe, repaired the gap with GS and now he's here:

Second Nobbla .. obviously a Gobbo normally but I guess a semi-dressed CD will count for AV7 as well .. he's got dodge as you can see by him having just one eye (??) .. cyclope chainsaw .. ace.

Used to be an old GW CD with spear .. he's better looking this way.

Hooray for Chaos Dwarfs! Looking good as usual! :D

I'm also painting a CD team atm, but I'll be happy if they're finished by the end of March.
